Privacy notice
This notice covers the processing of personal data in connection with the subscription on balatonjohelyindex.hu. The rest of the site can be used without providing personal data.

The balatonjohelyindex.hu site and the subscriber list are operated and maintained by Novitatis Kft., which is therefore responsible for the processing related to subscriptions. The survey was prepared for the Hungarian Tourism Association Foundation in professional cooperation with VisitBalaton365.
2. Data processed and purpose
The data processed are the e-mail address given at subscription and the stakeholder role selected (resident, second-home owner, tourism business, municipality, visitor or other). No name, phone number or other data is required.
The purpose is contact regarding the next measurement: an invitation to complete the next questionnaire when data collection starts, and a notification when the results of the next measurement are published. No newsletters, advertising or other messages are sent, and the e-mail address is not used for any other purpose.
3. Legal basis
The legal basis is consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Giving consent is voluntary: subscription is not a condition of using the site or downloading the documents. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
4. Retention period
The e-mail address is stored until the subscription is cancelled or consent is withdrawn. If the series of measurements ends permanently, the list is deleted. On unsubscription or a deletion request the data is erased without delay.
5. Processor and transfers
The data is not disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes and is not sold. The form and the hosting of the site are provided by a US-based hosting and form service as a processor, and submitted subscriptions are stored in its system. Transfers to the United States take place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which the service has certified.
6. Rights of the data subject
The data subject may request a copy of the data concerning them, its rectification or erasure, request restriction of processing, object to processing, request the data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Requests may be submitted to info@novitatis.hu and are answered within one month at the latest.
7. Remedies
In the event of unlawful processing, a complaint may be lodged with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu, +36 1 391 1400), and judicial remedy is also available.
8. Cookies
The site uses no analytics or marketing cookies and carries out no profiling. When the map and the fonts load, the browser connects to the providers' servers, which may process the IP address in the course of this.
